There was a day on PRR when delaying a passenger train a minute resulted in a day off without pay, such was the attention to first class service. Here Amtrak is tucked in behind NS 6752 and NS 9886 for a ride through single track towards Duncannon. Actually, there is not much flexibility in the sparing allotment of universal crossovers along this segment of railroad. |
