| Until recently the Union Pacific main west of Shell Creek, NE (MP64) was current of traffic operation to Grand Island. Now the old standard UP block signals are gone, the pole lines have come down and dispatchers can get fancy with sorting trains on either track. An approaching eastbound has a green light. |
