Motors and Catenary  Contributor's Pick!
PRR 4442 and mate round the long curve between Merion and Narberth with an Enola-bound freight, most likely out of South Philly. There were five to six freights originating out of Philly (Pavonia, NJ/Frankford Jct. & Greenwich) at this time. High density freight and passenger operation made any time along the tracks here well spent. Electrics were referred to as "motors" on the Pennsy.
