The C&O seemed to like to locate signals everywhere and in profusion. A pity all of the vintage signal systems are falling prey to standardization, although the stretch of former C&O in eastern Kaintuck was delightfully adorned with the myriad sentinels last summer. Not a bad power lash-up, either. |

| Description: |
A local freight was switching for awhile as I had some quick repairs to make to the Harley while trying for a good shot at Vauces. The sun was just right but the local was on the inside track, making for a tight view. It is the kind of sky that can make you worry when on a bike, but everything worked out okay - this day. |
